Ben has been an educator in the arts for nearly 20 years. He has lectured at nonprofits, private schools, public schools, and universities all over the country. He has given masterclasses at Bard College, Columbia-Greene Community College, and the English School in Kuwait. He strives every day to inspire his students, create engaging content, and promote the arts to future generations as a community commitment, rather than a novelty. He gives masterclasses on all Jazz subjects for band-age students, as well as college and professional students. Improvisation, big band, and small ensemble workshops are also available. He has a private saxophone studio for beginner to professional students and since the Covid-19 pandemic, is available for distance learning through zoom/skype.
